Castres Olympique coach Christian Gajan was in upbeat mood despite the fact his side his side beaten in Biarritz 34-27 in the penultimate round of the French Championship.
'We were not so far from victory against Biarritz. Unfortunately, our first half was too poor to hope make the game ours.
"We have been playing well recently, and today was no different. My players are enjoying their rugby at the moment. It's good for the future and the play downs.
'I am angry against a few decisions of the referee, but 'c'est la vie'!'
French international hooker Raphael Ibanez said: 'We are looking forward to the next few months of rugby as there are some important games for us ahead.'
Castres host Bordeaux-Begles on March 1 on the final day of the Pool stage of the French Championship.
The face fellow French side Pau in the PARKER PEN SHIELD semi-final double header in April.
