Gloucester full back Thinus Delport is set to see a specialist this week to assess the damage to his knee suffered in the 18-17 Zurich Premiership win over NEC Harlequins at Kingsholm last weekend.
Nigel Melville, the Gloucester director of rugby, said: "Thinus has been advised to let the swelling go down on his knee and he'll be visiting the specialist this week to ascertain the extent of the injury. We'll know more in the next 48 hours."
Former Springbok star Delport joins England World Cup winner Phil Vickery on the injury list. He is still recovering from the rib injury he received in his side's second round Heineken Cup victory over Bourgoin.
The Club's other injuries include Andy Hazell (stomach), James Forrester (ankle) and Simon Amor (rib), all of whom will be monitored in the build-up to this weekend's game against Leicester Tigers.
