Toulouse welcome Leeds Tykes to Stade Ernest Wallon on Friday night knowing a repeat of last weekend's Pool 2 defeat in Edinburgh will leave them in serious trouble.
The defending Heineken Cup champions got off to a bad start when they traveled to the Scottish capital in Round 1.
Unable to find any real rhythm in their game, Toulouse came away with just a bonus point to show for their efforts, leaving them in third place in the table.
Toulouse management concede the errors they made against the Gunners must be cut out when they take to the park against the Tykes.
'The fact is we didn't play well last Sunday. You can play well and lose but we put on a poor performance. We have to put all that right for Friday," said Head Coach Guy Noves.
And Noves knows that the Tykes will be no pushovers. Phil Davies' troops got the better of the Ospreys last week, and video analysis carried out by Noves has given him important insights into the style of rugby he expects from the English side currently ninth in the Zurich Premiership.
'I respect Leeds," he said.
"They don't have any weak points to speak of and have strengthened their team with the arrival of Arron Persico and Andre Snyman. But it's up to us to produce a match which does them and ourselves, justice.'
Toulouse captain Fabien Pelous also knows that after last week's loss, defeat is not an option.
'We've used up our joker on our first outing by losing to Edinburgh and now we've got to win all our matches to have a good chance of qualifying," he said.
'That defeat throws everything up in the air for us but I believe we are capable of reacting by pulling out a good performance and it's up to us to stand up and be counted.
'Leeds Tykes are a typical British side who don't really have any weak points and put in a great deal of physical commitment. We know that if we don't show the same amount of commitment on Friday night, we will be exposed and come unstuck once again.'
