Sébastien Bruno, the Beziers captain and hooker, believes his side can overturn the eight-point deficit they take into the return match against Connacht.
"It is better to get off to a good start with a home win but with seven points for a try and conversion, the eight-point advantage can quickly be wiped out," he said. We have a chance to get back in the game if we score early on.
"We know it's going to be hard in Ireland because Connacht have a good team - their forwards are very well organised, particularly in the line-out, and in Elwood they have an excellent number 10 who punishes every mistake.
"He is also a great player in open play, occupying territory superbly with his kicking game. In defense too, they are strong and we were only able to score one try last Sunday.
"But we will have to camp in their half in order to put doubts in their mind."
