Glasgow will be without Glenn Metcalfe for the Parker Pen Challenge Cup match against Montpellier on Saturday [6 December]. The Scotland full back has a knee injury, and his fellow cap, Stuart Moffat, returns to the No.15 jersey.
Gareth Maclure, Dan Parks, and Andrew Kelly also resume in the Glasgow XV. It will be Kelly's first start since the September league game against Connacht.
All three played as substitutes in the Celtic League game against Llanelli last week, and they now replace respectively Rory Kerr on the right wing, Calvin Howarth at stand-off, and Lee Harrison at tight head. The omitted trio will be on the replacements' bench.
Glasgow fly from Prestwick Airport to France tomorrow [Thursday 4 December], but they will not know until the following day whether the match will be played at Montpellier's stade Sabathé or an alternative venue. The Sabathé pitch was under a metre of floodwater this morning. The return leg of the cup-tie will be played at Hughenden a week on Friday [12 December].
Saturday's match is due to kick off at 7.30pm French time (6.30 GMT).
