Gloucester Rugby Club's Robert Todd is looking forward to returning to Heineken Cup action this weekend when the Cherry and Whites travel to Italy to take on Benetton Treviso.
The 32 year-old centre has been in powerful form in recent weeks and is delighted to be going into European action with a confidence boosting win against Northampton behind him.
Todd said: "It was a real plus getting the result on Saturday against Northampton. We've had a few games where we've lost by narrow margins, and there's just been one or two mistakes.
"It was a tremendous boost and good to come into the Heineken Cup with that win behind us."
Todd has scored two tries so far this season, and is set to make his seventh Heineken Cup appearance for the Cherry and Whites this weekend.
The 16 stone centre is joined by Gloucester's returning World Cup players for the trip to Treviso. Scrum-half Andy Gomarsall played the entire 80 minutes against the Saints on Saturday, and both Woodman and Vickery appeared in the second half.
"It'll be a good feeling going away with a full squad, it's been fantastic to have everyone back from the World Cup," added Todd.
