Bath scrum-half Martyn Wood for six weeks for kicking an opponent, ruling him out of his side's PARKER PEN CHALLENGE CUP game against L'Aquilla.
Wood was sent off in Bath's 13-12 win over Leicester at Welford Road on November 29.
He was found guilty at a Rugby Football Union disciplinary panel and the Zurich Premiership leaders will be without the half-back, who briefly joined the England squad at the World Cup, over the Christmas period.
Wood will be suspended from December 3 to January 13, missing the PARKER PEN CHALLENGE CUP game against L'Aquila on Saturday as well as the Premiership games against Newcastle, Saracens, London Irish and Rotherham.
He will also not be available for Clive Woodward's team for the game against the New Zealand Barbarians.
