***Northampton Saints outside half Paul Grayson is 10 points short of reaching 200 in the Heineken Cup.
***Agen skipper Jean-Jacques Crenca will resume hostilities with Northampton's England hooker Steve Thompson and Scottish prop Tom Smith at the weekend. They last met in the World Cup quarter and semi finals when the French beat the Scots and lost to the English.
***The Borders' 27-8 defeat in Agen last weekend made it six in a row in away game sin the Heineken Cup and nine in a row in all matches. That matches the record of the Italian side Padova between 1998-2000. Their only win in the tournament to date came in 1996 when they beat Llanelli 24-16 - the forerunners to their opponents this weekend, Llanelli Scarlets.
***Llanelli Scarlets will become the third team to reach the 50 match milestone in the Heineken Cup when they met The Borders on Sunday. Their 14-9 home win over Northampton Saints last weekend was their 30th in 49 matches. The only other clubs to play 50 or more games in the Heineken Cup are Toulouse and Munster.
***The Scarlets' outside half Stephen Jones is now just 13 points short of becoming the third player to join the 500 points club in the Heineken Cup. He now has 487 in 43 games. Diego Dominguez and Ronan O'Gara are the only players to have reached 500 points to date.
