Connacht will take an eight-point advantage into the second leg of their Parker Pen Challenge Cup Round 1 contest against Beziers with coach Michael Bradley driving home the message that "the job is only half done."
The boot of former international fly half Eric Elwood did the first leg damage for Connacht with six penalty goals from six chances and Bradley accepts that "eight points is nothing - they had their chances to go into the second leg with points in the bank but our defence was very strong.
"However, we are in the position we want to be. We have won the away leg, we are playing at home at Galway Sportsground and we know more about their strengths and weaknesses - they are not such an unknown quantity.
"Their pack is formidable in size and we must make sure they don't get either their maul or scrum going. Behind the pack they had some lovely movement and elusive running and they did get through us a couple of times.
"But we were efficient in what we did, kept the pressure on and got the penalties. It was a tough game and we are expecting more of the same on Saturday."
