The Munster side for the Heineken Cup game against Bourgoin shows just one change from the side that started against Cardiff Blues last weekend. John Kelly who was originally selected for the Cardiff game has recoverd from the achilles injury that ruled him out of that game and returns to the starting XV at the expense of Mossie Lawler.
Shaun Payne retains his place on the wing in the continued absence of Anthony Horgan (hamstring) while the pack remains unchanged after the demolition job they did on the Cardiff eight.
Rob Henderson makes a return to the side, named on the bench as is Scottish international prop Gordon McIlwham. Coach Alan gaffney has included an AN Other among the replacements with a decision to be made between David Pusey and Eddie Halvey, bith of whom will travel to France.
Alan Gaffney commented: "I don't imagine anyone is under any illusion about the enormity of the task that lies ahead of us. Bourgoin may not conjure up the same images as say Toulouse, Biarritz or Stade (Francais) but make no mistake they are a very good side. They've have had the benefit of having almost their entire squad available in the World Cup period - only Seabastien Chabal and Olivier Milloud - were in Australia - and they've strung together some pretty impressive performances. They've a big pack with plenty of pace in the backs.
"And whatever about their performances so far I think it's worth remebering that they were desperately unlucky not to make the quarter final last year. The ended up on eight points, same as ourselves, and put 54 points on Llanelli and 43 points on Sale at home."
