Capped twice by Argentina, Emiliano joins Sarries from Bristol Shoguns, the club that he joined in March 2002 from Athletico Del Rosario.
"Emiliano is a tough competitor with exceptional power and good technique in the scrum. Argentina has a reputation for robust scrummagers and Emiliano fits into that mould. He is still developing as a player, but his 13 appearances in the Zurich Premiership for Bristol Shoguns last season and his two international caps gives a strong indication of what he is capable of," commented Mark Sinderberry, Chief Executive.
Before being awarded his first cap in 2001 against the USA, Emiliano represented Argentina at U19, U21 and 'A' level. During his time with the Under 19 group they were crowned South American Champions.
Emiliano is reputed to have broken a scrummaging machine in a training session which is testament to his raw strength. He is a dedicated professional who works hard on his fitness and is hungry for success with
Saracens. He very much looks forward to the move to London and the new lifestyle that he will have as a member of the Saracens squad.
