Leading points scorer throughout the Pool Stages, Ludovic Mercier, has reached 101 points, but seems unlikely to be the tournament's leading scorer as his side, Gloucester, have failed to make the final stages of the competition.
Llanelli outside half Stephen Jones is in pole position to overtake Mercier, with Ronan O'Gara (Munster) Brian O'Meara (Leinster) and Jean-Baptiste Elissalde (Toulouse) still in the hunt.
In the try scoring table, Garan Evans of Llanelli did his chances of winning the honour no harm at all with his hat trick against Glasgow in round 6. He now leads the way with seven scores.
Toulouse' Vincent Clerc is currently in second spot with 6 scores. Bus it is the end of the line for Gloucester trio, Marcel Garvey(5), James Simpson-Daniel and Jake Boer (4) who had seemed destined to add to their tally before Munster's last gasp knockout blow.
And Gloucester can forget about topping the team tries total. They currently share that honour with Leicester Tigers, but with the double champions going through to the final eight, the Cherry and Whites will have to settle for a place away from the spotlight.
