NEC Harlequins' Keith Wood underwent minor surgery on
his right shoulder last Saturday (4th January 2003).
The arthroscopy was a complete success, though Keith
will undergo a review with the consultant in
approximately three weeks and is expected to return to
return to full training in approximately eight weeks
time.
"It is disappointing and frustrating for Keith that he
has suffered this minor problem so soon after coming
back from his previous injury," said Mike Scott, NEC
Harlequins Team Manager. "However, it is good news that
the arthroscopy was a success and we look forward to
seeing Keith back in action just as soon as he is fit."
