PAU 63-17EBBW VALE (18/01/03 Kick-off 1900)
(First Leg Ebbw Vale 29-3 Pau)
Martin Pearson kicked his fellow Welshmen out of the Parker Pen Challenge Cup as Ebbw Vale collapsed in France.
Pearson scored a try and kicked nine goals from all over the park as Pau overturned a 26-point first-leg deficit in stunning fashion.
The Steelmen's 29-3 victory at Rodney Parade last weekend was quickly forgotten as Pau welcomed back several star players and ran riot. Damien Traille picked up a brace of tries and international No 8 Imanol Harinordoquy, who missed last weekend's match, also got on the scoresheet.
Pau play fellow French club Castres Olympique in the semi-finals after Casters demolished Romanian side Dinamo Bucuresti 123-0 on Friday night for a massive 211-0 win on aggregate.
