'I am pleased to be signing a new contract with Bath Rugby,' said Danielli. 'I have thoroughly enjoyed my two seasons here and I'm looking forward to the next two with our new coaching structure and all the new signings. Already there is a positive mood amongst the lads, a real buzz of confidence, which is great. I can't wait for this season to kick off.'
The new deal caps what has been a good week for the winger, who has also been named in the 50-strong Scotland Preliminary Squad for the World Cup later this year.
Simon has bucked the trend of returning to his homeland and resisted the lure of the new Celtic League, delighting Director of Rugby Jack Rowell.

"Simon has signed a new two-year contract and we are naturally delighted," said Rowell. "He has made excellent progress since joining the club two seasons ago, and after a debut season of learning in the Zurich Premiership, last season Simon took massive strides forward to cement his place in the side to finish as the club's top try-scorer. Currently knocking on the Scotland door, we look forward to Simon making further progress and growing in confidence over the next two seasons."
Bath Rugby have signed ten new players over the summer period, including Isaac Feaunati, Martyn Wood and David Flatman.
