The Neath-Swansea Ospreys have signed South African test star Stefan Terblanche with a view to him playing in the Heineken Cup.
The winger, who played for the Springboks at the World Cup, is a prolific try-scorer, bagging a Super 12 record of 28 during the Natal Sharks' 2002 campaign.
Terblanche, 28, has scored 19 tries in 37 Tests, and holds the Springbok record for the most tries in a Test after scoring five against Italy in 1999. He has signed a contract running up until the end of the 2004/05 season, and hopes to join the squad within the next seven days
