The reigning European champions have had a gruelling schedule in the French Chamionship since they beat Biarritz Olympique 19-11 in the Heineken Cup semi-final on 24 April.
Toulouse suffered their first defeat since that game to Stade Francais last weekend, and a number of their squad are nursing minor injuries.
"We have had a tough run of matches since the semi-finals and have picked u p a couple of knocks along the way. We had our first loss in a month last week to Stade Francais, so it hasn't been ideal preparations for the match," said Brennan.
"But I think Wasps have a similar situation, so we are both at the same disadvantage really. But it's a professional game nowadays and that is what is what we are expected to do week in week out.
Brennan who lifted the Heineken Cup when Toulouse proved too strong for Perpignan in the final last year, knows his team are facing one of the strongest club sides in the world this week.
"From the few times I have seen Wasps play this season that also look like a very strong side. They are the sort of side that goes outside the 22, you can take in their coaching staff with Greg White, Shawn Edwards and Warren Gatland pushing them to the Parker Pen Challenge Cup and English Premiership.
"Trevor Leota really stands out, he is a huge ball carrier and hard hitter. Plus, in the pack you have the likes of Volley, Shaw, and of course Dallaglio.
"But I also think Stade Toulousian have strengths everywhere - not just one to fifteen, but the bench as well. We have good impact players that can come on late and turn a match."
The two heavyweights will meet at Twickenham on Sunday at 3pm in the ninth Heineken Cup Final.
