London Wasps received a massive Heineken Cup final boost when Fraser Waters came through a fitness test this morning to claim his place in the side to meet defending champions Toulouse at Twickenham on Sunday.
"It is a big plus for us," said captain Lawrence Dallaglio.
"There are a lot of talented centres in England, but Fraser is widely regarded as one of the best performers in the country and has been rewarded with a place on the England tour to Australia and New Zealand.
"He is one of the stand-outs in our back line and takes control of things in both attack and defence.
"Twickenham is a great stadium and the Heineken Cup is a great occasion which will bring out the best in both teams. I don't think any one side are favourites."
Wasps coach Warren Gatland declared "I can't see too many weaknesses in the Toulouse side.
"Their obvious strength is the ability to turn a game at any stage as well as their fantastic depth in talent - the sort of impact players like Yannick Bru and Isototo Maka can make coming off the bench."
Fabien Pelous - who was presented with an ERC Elite Award of a cap in recognition of making his 50th tournament appearance on Sunday - installed Wasps as favourites.
"They must be favourites," he said, "But that won't change our approach to the game."
Toulouse did have some selecting headaches, confessed head coach Guy Noves.
"Obviously when we have so much talent at half back we had to think hard about selection - but there were also a lot of other places that caused us to think long and hard."
