Fabien Pelous will join the exclusive Heineken Cup "50 caps" club when the Toulouse second row runs out at Twickenham to face London Wasps in the Heineken Cup final on Sunday (3.00 pm).
The French captain will become only the fifth player to qualify for an ERC Elite Award for making half a century of appearances in the Heineken Cup - the showpiece occasion will be his 45th game in Toulouse colours to go with the five tournament matches he played for Dax.
Toulouse are defending the title of European Champions they won after defeating Perpignan 22-17 in last year's final at Lansdowne Road.
They face London Wasps in this season's final. Wasps, who have progressed to the Zurich Premiership final at Twickenham just six days after the biggest match of their history, have been tipped by many as favourites to win their first European title.
They currently hold both the Parker Pen Challenge Cup and Zurich Premiership titles, and see this as the culmination a period of building under Warren Gatland.
