Toulouse coach Guy Noves knows the Heineken Cup Final is the pinnacle of global club rugby, the next level.
Noves has stood on the sidelines as his team have played a number of tough and crucial matches in the French Championship in recent weeks, but he knows Saturday's match against London Wasps will surpass all games that have come before it.
"This is the final of the Heineken Cup. The event in itself is way above anything else we have done this season.
"It's so far removed from the play-offs, you can't even compare the two. We have got one desire this week and that is to concentrate on the final against Wasps on Sunday.
"Ask any other French club and they would love to have this opportunity.
"The fact that we are playing Wasps in their own backyard is an extra source of motivation for us - it will be us against 70,000 English fans on Sunday and we will draw something from that.
"The home crowd may give Wasps a boost when the teams run onto the pitch but
after that it's 15 against 15."
Noves said Toulouse would target Wasps' tendency to give away penalties.
"The referee could be influenced by the crowd but it is up to us to make Wasps concede penalties - that is one of our objectives.
"The final will go quickly - we must concentrate on playing rugby and not discussing decisions or getting involved in scuffles.
"Wasps have strengthened their set-piece since the last time we played them but have kept the intensity and speed they showed in 1996. They are strong from 1 to 22 but hopefully we can find a few small holes in their game to give us some hope.
