Edinburgh Rugby New Shirt Sponsor

Edinburgh Rugby is delighted to announce that Magners Original Irish Cider will become its main sponsor for the coming season 2004/05.

Ireland's leading cider brand, Magners Original Irish Cider is strengthening its link in Scotland by sponsoring The Gunners. The Magners brand will appear across the chests and on the collar of the new Gunners shirt throughout the season. First launched in Scotland in the spring of 2003, Magners is the only Irish cider available internationally

Edinburgh Rugby Chief Executive, Jim McKenzie, said: 'It's fantastic that a high profile brand such as Magners have come on board as our main sponsor. This support will contribute tremendously to The Gunners Celtic League and Heineken Cup challenges. We look forward to working with Magners to deliver a team that Edinburgh can be proud of."

We enjoy a strong relationship with sport in Ireland and when we introduced Magners to Scotland last year it was one of the first areas we looked to develop. Kooga have signed up as new kit sponsor, while The Edinburgh Evening News, Forth One and Virgin Trains have shown continued support by sponsoring The Gunners for yet another year.
