It's down to the wire now for the five contenders who have been shortlisted for the ultimate individual accolade in northern hemisphere rugby, ERC European Player of the Year 2013.

Stimpson has been training with the Headingley based club for the past month and was today unveiled at the club's press day as the club's ninth signing of the close season.
Stimpson has joined the Tykes from French club Perpignan but it is for his time at Leicester that he is best known. He scored 1713 points in 151 first team games for the Tigers and is the highest scorer of all time in the Premiership with 1180 in the league.
Commenting on the signing the 31-year-old said, "I have been really impressed with the set up here at the Tykes and I believe we can take the club forward this year, perhaps more than some of the players realise at this moment in time. All the ingredients are in place for Leeds to be successful and with my family living in Yorkshire, I really feel at home at Leeds."
Stimpson won four Premierships with Leicester and back to back Heineken Cups as well as Premiership at Newcastle but he still has goals that he is striving for, he added, "I have some unfinished business in the Premiership and there are still things I want to prove, Leeds gives me a great opportunity to do that."
Commenting on his capture Director of Rugby Phil Davies commented, "Tim is a quality addition to our squad and strengthens are options, not least for his kicking for which he is amongst the best in the world. He has already had a big impact since his arrival with his approach to the game and I'm sure that will only improve over the course of the season."
The Tykes play their first pre-season game this Friday, 13th August, at Headingley against Glasgow, kick off 8pm.
