Glasgow wing Kenny Logan was today trying to piece together the incident which forced him out of Sunday's Heineken Cup Pool 3 clash with Llanelli Scarlets.
Logan was knocked-out when he clashed heads with Scarlets No.8 Dave Hodges at Stradey Park and had to be carried off on a stretcher after 42 minutes of his side's 38-22 defeat.
"By all accounts it was a hell of a bash. I suppose it could have killed me," admitted Logan, who was taken to Hospital for tests.
"It was a very scary experience. I must have been out for the count for a few minutes.
"I can't remember a thing about the collision. I just recall lying on the special spinal board and realising how lucky I was to be able to feel my fingers and toes.
"I knew that at point nothing bad was wrong with my neck. They gave me brain scans, but didn't find anything in there - nothing new at any rate."
Logan had to have a couple of stitches in his head wound, and former American skipper Hodges was also forced to leave the field after the clash.
