ERC radio broadcast partners RTE Radio are set to serve up a fantastic weekend of commentary from Irish matches in both the Heineken Cup and European Challenge Cup this weekend.
Adrian Eames will be presenting a Heineken Cup Special on Friday night (19.30-21.30) focussing on Munster crunch Pool 4 clash with arch-rivals Castres Olympique.
Experienced commentator Michael Corcoran will be joined by former Munster lock Mick O'Driscoll, now playing his rugby with French Championship leaders Perpignan, at Stade Pierre Antoine to see if the Irish side can maintain their 100% record in Europe this season.
It will be the seventh time the two teams have met in the Heineken Cup and the Frenchmen lead Munster 2-1 on their own patch. RTE Radio will have full commentary on RTE Radio 1 Medium Wave 567 and LW 252 from 19:30pm.
On Saturday, John Kenny's 'Saturday Sport' show will feature a double header of action with Gary Moran calling the European Challenge Cup Round 2, first leg game between Connacht and Montpellier at 14.30 followed by Michael Corcoran describing the second half action from Lansdowne Road where Leinster tackle Bourgoin in the Heineken Cup.
Ex-Connacht lock Joe Healy will join Gary Moran at the Sportsground, while former Ireland and Lions skipper Ciaran Fitzgerald will be the second voice at Lansdowne Road on RTE Radio 1 (LW252 and MW 567).
