Perpignan have been hit by a rush of front-five injuries as they prepare to take on Newport Gwent Dragons at Rodney Parade.
But former All Blacks No 8 Scott Robertson is adamant they are looking for back-to-back wins over the only Welsh region to secure a win from the opening two rounds.
Locks Mick O'Driscoll and Christophe Porcu and prop Nicolas Mas are out although Argentine lock Rimas Alvarez Kairelis is expected to be available.
"I think we've certainly got the players and the experience to put the Dragons under pressure home and away," said Robertson.
"Although we have got a lot of injuries in the forwards we have great strength in depth which has enabled us to absorb those injuries without dropping our level.
"I have not played against the Dragons but I am aware that the Welsh are reputed to have great passion and generally strong forwards. We'll be reviewing some video footage to work out the best way to
attack them on the pitch.
"But we have still not resolved our problems which are stopping the backs getting good ball. The ball is still coming out slowly and we need to concentrate on moving it around and playing a good running game.
"We are looking at improving our continuity in attack and getting better at absorbing pressure and trusting each other in defence.
"The home fixture on 11 December will be particularly important. Winning at home seems to be massively important in France and Perpignan are very proud of their home record.
"The fans are amazing and as a foreigner I found it a little intimidating even being on the home side so it must have a big effect on away teams. There is a great deal of passion and we are getting better at controlling it; giving away fewer penalties and keeping a balance between the desire to win and ill-discipline."
