England captain Jason Robinson will lead Sale Sharks out at Narbonne in the first leg of Round 2 of the European Challenge Cup determined the 2002 tournament winners go all the way and lift the title again.
"We are in the tournament to win it," said the 2003 World Cup winner.
"When we won the title in 2002 that really put Sale Sharks on the map. Everything we have achieved since then has kicked on from that day.
"We are deadly serious about the tournamernt and want to win the trophy again."
Narbonne and Cetransa El Salvador progressed to Round 2 as the "lucky losers" with the Spanish club now up against 1997 Heineken Cup winners Brive.
The Borders face a tough First Leg task away to Clermont Auvergne while Connacht have initial home advantage for their clashes with Montpellier, the 2004 European Shield winners.
