Wasps skipper Lawrence Dallaglio was "a little dazed but very happy" after leading his side into their first Heineken Cup semi-final. The England skipper clashed heads with Wasps team-mate Paul Volley midway through the first half, leaving the two men flat out for almost two minutes.
But both men eventually removed to play key roles in their side's stunning 34-3 triumph, with Dallaglio bagging a try.
"There are two heads at his clubs you don't want to clash with. One is Trevor Leota's and the other is Paul Volley's because their isn't a lot in it!" said Dallaglio.
"I felt a bit groggy at the time. I was seeing stars for a little while, but I managed to get up and play a little part in the game.
"You saw two big packs out there, and we knew we had to be direct and confrontational. There was a little bit of niggle in the game, but I think we were pretty clinical in all we did.
"Munster are an awesome side whose record speaks for itself. I have been a fan of theirs in the past. And I actually went to Lille on the train to support them when they played Stade Francais in a semi-final.
"They have huge support and they are a top team."
