Rugby Parma travel to Viadana for the second leg of their semi-final showdown with a 10-point deficit to make up - and with a Sky Italia audience watching for a result that will determine where in Italy the Parker Pen Shield final will be played on the night of Friday, 21 May.
Semi-final success for Viadana would mean the final being played at Stadio Lanfranchi, Parma. If Rugby Parma win through, the final will be played at Stadio Mirabello, Reggio Emilia - kick-off 21.00 local time.
"It all depends how we start the game," said Alessandro Ghini, the Rugby Parma coach.
"If we start the game well at Viadana, we can still hope to go through - to lose two players to yellow cards in the first half last time didn't help our cause.
"We have to look at our defence first and foremost and, if we have the same amount of possession from the scrum and line-out as the opposition, we have a chance of going through.
"Viadana are very strong at home and it is only 25km away - a real local derby. Last time we played there this season we were leading until the last few minutes before drawing, so we have quite a good recent record there.
"Last time, we made a few costly mistakes in the last 15 minutes which cost us the lead so our concentration must be top along with our confidence levels.
"We were forced to rest a few players last weekend, particularly in the second row, but they should all be back for the return leg.
"Whatever the scenario, we will go there to play rugby and to get a result - we are not going there just for the ride."
