Gloucester's England hero Phil Vickery has no doubts about the challenge that faces his side in Sunday's final Heineken Cup quarter-final at the Causeway Stadium.
"London Wasps have been the best side in England in the last couple of years. Their performances and results prove that," said Vickery.
"We are facing a massive challenge, but we would be disappointed if that weren't the case having reached the last eight of the Heineken Cup. There are no easy games at this level.
"The Heineken Cup is a really special tournament. It is just that little bit different from every other competition we play in and we all realise we are 80 minutes way from moving on to the next stage.
"Playing in the Heineken Cup has been good for us - it is the place you want to be every season if you want to improve. We are potentially a better team now than when we reached the semi-finals in our first season."
Despite playing throughout the World Cup and the Six Nations campaigns for England, Vickery says his appetite for the club game is as high as ever.
"My appetite is no less playing for Gloucester than England. Gloucester have done so much for me and the support I've received from the fans has been fantastic," he said.
"So, if selected, I'll be going out there to give it my all on Sunday."
