Viadana are banking on home advantage - and a large crowd - sweeping them through to the Parker Pen Challenge Cup final.
They face Rugby Parma in the second leg of the semi-finals with Director of Rugby Franco Bernini declaring: "The perspective of the return leg is positive for Viadana in my view.
"We have a 10-point advantage gained in the away match so we can hope to put in a good performance at home and get a good result.
"It is important for the club to get to the final because it would be the first time for an Italian club to get to a European final and we will fight and give everything in order to get there.
"Ten points is not a huge margin - it's certainly not enough to guarantee us a place in the final - but having just gone through a difficult period the team is now playing well technically and is in good physical shape.
"And while we know it won't be an easy match, we would hope that at home, we can produce a good performance and make it difficult for Rugby Parma to turn over our advantage.
"We have some good support at Viadana and hopefully 2,000 or more people will turn out to support us. Viadana and Rugby Parma play a similar style of rugby and the result of the match will depend on very little - it's going to be a question of who makes a break and who makes least mistakes in attack and defence."
