England lock Simon Shaw will be fit to play for Wasps in their Heineken Cup semi-final against Munster on Sunday.
Shaw was an injury concern for the Parker Pen Challenge Cup holders after he was injured in an off-the-ball incident against Leeds Tykes at the weekend.
He underwent a scan on his spleen on Wednesday and Wasps have revealed he is suffering only from bruising and will face Munster at Lansdowne Road.
"They will strap him up and he will be fine to play," said Wasps spokeman Nolan Miller.
The news is a big boost for Wasps coach Warren Gatland, who is unhappy about the way in which the giant second row was injured.
"It happened following an incident off the ball. The linesman saw it, raised his flag but then changed his mind," said Gatland.
"There is not much we can do because the incident is in the hands of the independent citing commissioner."
On Wednesday Shaw was one of five players, and the only Englishman, to be shortlisted for the Player's Player of the Year award.
