Montpellier will be flying the flag for France in the other semi-final, at home against Leonessa in Friday night's first leg, with head coach Didier Nourault determined to stop it being an all-Italian final.
"The first thing is to get to the final - you don't want to get this far and then fall at the final fence," he said.
"We want to win the title and being home first means that we must get as big an advantage as possible for the game at Leonessa two weeks later while producing an entertaining game for our loyal supporters.
"We don't know much about Leonessa, except they are not going that well in the Italian Championship, so we are concentrating on our game plan and what we want to achieve, not worrying about the opposition.
"We will try and dominate up front at scrum and line-out to get decent possession for our backs and provide them with scoring options both from the set pieces and phase play; retain possession and deny them the ball and wear them down because Italian sides tend to be well organised in defense.
