The men from Thormond Park have seen Celtic League action thick and fast since they saw off Bourgoin to reach the knock-out stages.
But it hasn't been business as usual for the Munstermen who have been without the services of a whole host of glittering stars during Ireland's Triple Crown victory, winning just three in their last eight outings.
The Irish province had a promising return to the domestic front in February, with back to back wins over Borders and close rivals Leinster.
But successive defeats to the Scarlets, the Ospreys, Ulster and the Dragons followed and a vital away win at Glasgow was quickly undermined by a 29-25 loss at the home of the Celtic Warriors.
Opponents Stade have also had a mixed run since February, with two wins and two losses in their four outings so far.
A win over Castres was quickly cancelled out with back-to-back defeats to Brive and Boutgoin to leave them struggling in the French Championship.
But the Parisians got back to winning ways with perfect timing last week with a 24-20 win over Pau ready for their showdown with Munster.
