It's down to the wire now for the five contenders who have been shortlisted for the ultimate individual accolade in northern hemisphere rugby, ERC European Player of the Year 2013.




His side face Edinburgh in the quarter-finals, and have the prospect of another 'home' tie against the winners of Llanelli Scarlets v Biarritz Olympique if they progress to the semi-finals.
"The great thing about the draw is that we will play at home if we win our quarter-final which is something we enjoy. But to begin with we must focus on the quarter-final and another tough game against Edinburgh Rugby.'
The fullback, who has not played in this season's competition, reiterated his side's determination to progress to the final once again.
'We would obviously like to repeat our Heineken Cup final victory of last year, and it would be great to become the first team to win the tournament three times.
"But there is a lot of hard work to be done before we can even start thinking about that.
