MONTAUBAN 8 NEC HARLEQUINS 43
Harlequins fly-half Paul Burke's superb performance in wet conditions puts his side in the box seat to win the first leg of their tie against Montauban 43-8.
Burke had a hand in all four first-half tries as the visitors sprinted to a 29-3 at the break, and his cool head and pinpoint kicking proved too much for a French club well out of their depth in theParker Pen Challenge Cup match.
Hooker Ace Tiatia opened the visitors' try-scoring after a Burke grubber-kick, before winger Ugo Monye (2) and England star Will Greenwood took advantage of his chips and cross-kicks to get on the try-scoring list.
