Mallett Out To Hammer Dragons

Nick Mallett will send his Stade Franà§ais Paris team out against The Dragons at Stade Jean Bouin on Sunday demanding the French champions live up to their No 1 billing.

"I am not happy at all with the way our European campaign has gone so far, we missed an opportunity at Ulster and we showed a lack of discipline at the Dragons," said the South African coach.

"We will be looking to grind out a win against the Dragons on Sunday and see what happens after that.

"The Dragons are a very competent side with two international locks and a very good No 8. Behind the scrum they have three good South African players but I think this Pool could go down to the wire because each team has won its home games so far.

"On top of that we have lost Augustin Pichot with a shoulder injury for the rest of this phase of the competition. As I said at the outset, it was always going to be tough to reach the quarter-finals because we have had to integrate 14 players since the end of the World Cup.

"Leicester are in the same position and you can see that the teams who have had the fewest players in the World Cup are going to do well this season.

"Having said that, Ulster's victory over Leicester keeps things wide open - although at this stage they look to be the favourites to win the Pool. The one thing in our favour is that we have two home games to come."
