'For Andre Delpoux and me, having taken charge of the side, we are expecting a positive reaction from the players.
'Having already coached Narbonne from 1997 to 1999 and through my job as technical director of Narbonne, I am already familiar with a lot of the players.
"Our performances have recently seen a drop in form so we need to get some wins under our belt - if we want to reach the Championship play-offs, we must practically win five of our seven remaining Pool matches.
'We are very determined to do well in the Parker Pen Challenge Cup - I was at Castres when they got to the Heineken Cup semi-final and Narbonne reached the final of the Parker Pen Shield in 2001 so Europe is very dear to us here.
'There would be no point in going to Reading just to keep the score down.
"Just like in Rotherham, we have to go there for the win.
'But we must get a lot more movement into our game and defence and our physical game will be key.
'The side is lacking confidence at the moment but matches of this level can only be beneficial.
"We intend to qualify for the next round and, although we've got two or three injured players, the side that travels this weekend will be asked to give 100%.'
