All six French qualifiers for next year's Heineken Cup have been confirmed. But the final Heineken Cup rankings will not be known until after the French Championship final which takes place at the Stade de France on Saturday 26 June.
The French Championship is currently at the semi-final stage with former Heineken Cup finalists Stade Francais and Perpignan, along with this year's finalists Toulouse and Bourgoin making the last four.
Stade Francais play Bourgoin at Stade Gerland, Lyon on Saturday, June 19 with Toulouse taking on Perpignan at Stade La Mosson, Montpellier on Sunday June 20.
All four qualify for next season's premier club competition, along with Castres who won the Challenge Sud Radio during the World Cup. The sixth club to qualify is Biarritz, who, despite not qualifying for the championship semi-finals, finished the play-off stage as best third-placed club.
Benetton Treviso and Calvisano have qualified for the Heineken Cup as Italy's two representatives for the second year running after reaching the Italian Championship final. The clubs overcame Overmach Rugby and Arix Viadana respectively over two-legged semi-finals.
The French qualifiers are: Stade Francais, Toulouse, Perpignan, Bourgoin, Castres & Biarritz Olympique.
