Aaron Mauger believes the next two rounds of Heineken Cup rugby will be pivotal in Leicester Tigers' season.
The Tigers turn their attention to European rugby on Saturday when Italian Super 10 side Treviso visit Welford Road (3pm kick-off), and then, its a trip to Wales to face EDF Energy Cup holders the Ospreys.
The Tigers may go into the fixtures at the top of Heineken Cup Pool 3, but Mauger is focussed as they bid to reach the competition's knock-out stages, "It's massive for our season," he said.
"We would have loved to have gone a bit higher in the Premiership table with a win against Northampton but now we are focused on the Heineken Cup for the next two weeks.
"We can still go to through to the next stage if we have a good win this weekend and then try to beat Ospreys down there.
"We have two difficult games coming up that can define our season in the next two weeks."
Tigers go into the Heineken Cup games on the back of a 17-13 defeat against local rivals Northampton Saints on Saturday.
