Bath head coach Steve Meehan says he expects Edinburgh to put in an improved performance when the two sides meet again at Murrayfield this weekend.
Meehan's men ran out 16-9 winners at The Rec last Sunday as Bath kept their Heineken Cup hopes alive with their first win in three attempts.
But with Edinburgh flying high in their domestic league, Meehan anticipates a tough challenge at the home of Scottish rugby.
"I expect the Edinburgh performance to be a better one as well, being at home," said Meehan.
"I expect them to come out and try to execute things a little bit better than they did on Sunday.
"Their squad has been playing very well so, regardless of which 15 start, you're going to be getting a very competitive, well-drilled team."
But while Meehan knows that securing another victory on Saturday will be far from easy, he admits that last weekend's win has certainly boosted confidence after a disappointing start to his team's European campaign.
And with previous pool leaders Stade Francais having slipped up at Ulster last time out, Meehan believes Bath's chances of qualification for the knockout stages are far from over.
"The win on Sunday reinforces to people the good things that we've been working on," added Meehan.
"When we stick to it and believe, you can see the confidence in the team growing and you see that not just in the matches but in training as well. More people believe they can have a positive effect on what's happening.
"And you can hear it, and that's what's really important from a coaching point of view when you stand back and listen to your team. You can hear the voices and the involvement and the excitement.
"There's a definite shift in attitude and it's not just on matchday but throughout the course of the week. There's a greater sense of freedom when we are playing and a clearer understanding of what we are trying to do and when we should do it.
"I'm quite positive about things and quite sure my team can go up there and improve on last weekend's performance and put a decent case forward.
"If we did get the win - or when we get the win - it puts us right back in the hunt."
