He said: "I've been here a long time and the Blues mean a huge amount to me. It was a big decision but once I decided to leave, the next thing was always to try to finish the season in the best possible style.
"I just want to go out and make the most of every opportunity and enjoy each game I have left with the Blues. "We're under no illusions but this is the best chance we have had to win the Heineken Cup and it's up to us to make the most of it.
"It's awesome that we've won one trophy already and we are in a very strong position in Europe, where we have a great chance of reaching the final. "If you are going to leave, then that's the place to do it. There wouldn't be any greater high than that.If my last game is the Heineken Cup final and we win it, then a few tears may be shed."
Robinson admits times haven't always been as good as they are now for the Blues, but is now enjoying reaping the rewards the team's hard work has merited. The 27-year-old said:
"I'm definitely enjoying my rugby at the moment and I am playing close to my best.I have been here through the tough times and now we want to enjoy it through the better times. "We have players who have been here since the region started I think it's important to have them here. These boys have come through the darker days and are enjoying having the chance to shine now."
