In the European Challenge Cup, six of the eight quarter-finalists have strengthened their squads. Newcastle Falcons are hoping England and Lions outside half Jonny Wilkinson will be fully fit by the time they meet Saracens at Vicarage Road on Sunday, 12 April.
Wilkinson is on the road to a full recovery after a knee injury. The Falcons have also added lock Geoff Parling to their squad.
Brive, one of two French teams in the last eight, have registered Romanian prop Petru Balan and Argentinean wing Horacio Agulla among their three recruits, while Worcester Warriors welcome back wing Marcel Garvey among their three new players.
