London Wasps have signed England wing Tom Varndell, Aussie centre Steve Kefu and Bristol No 8 Dan Ward-Smith on two year contracts.
The trio will join the current Guinness Premiership champions at the start of next season and their signings reverse the recent trend which has seen Riki Flutey, Tom Palmer, James Haskell and Tom Voyce all announce their intentions to leave Adams Park.
While former England squad member Ward-Smith is joining from Bristol, Varndell will arrive from Leicester Tigers and six-times capped Kefu from Castres Olympique.
"These signings show our intent to be challenging for honours next season. Steve is a very creative centre and comes with a bag full of experience," said Wasps head Coach Shaun Edwards.
"Tom is probably the fastest player in the league and is a player we have admired for a long time. We want to help him try to get back into the England reckoning, something we at Wasps have a proven track record of doing as we continue to develop our players to the highest level.
"Dan is an athletic, ball carrying back row forward who was knocking on the England door two seasons ago and may well be an England talent for the future."
