France international flanker Fulgence Ouedraogo has agreed a three-year-deal with Montpellier running until at least 2012.
The 22-year-old, who made his international debut during France's summer tour to New Zealand in 2007, was named as Montpellier's captain at the start of the season.
After several weeks of negations and reports of approaches from other clubs the rising star has decided to stay with the club he joined as an Academy player.
It has been reported in France that an opt out close has been included in his contract to allow a move if Montpellier are not playing in European competition
In other Montpellier player news fellow internationals François Trinh-Duc Julien Tomas have also signed up for more with the club, international back row Louis Picamole will move to Toulouse during the summer.
