Leicester head coach Richard Cockerill believes his returning heroes can see off the Cardiff Blues in their own back yard to reach the Heineken Cup final.
Ahead of the game many in the media have tipped a Blues win in Sunday's showdown at the Millennium Stadium, but Cockerill believes his Tigers have what it takes to beat them.
He said: "Everyone is saying they are favourites but I know we have it within us to go to Cardiff and win. They are a good side and getting better all the time, but so are we.
"When you get to this stage of the competition you are playing against the very best in Europe, and this applies to both teams."
Cockerill rested a number of players in the Tigers' last Guinness Premiership game of the season, a 73-3 win over Bristol, and now makes five changes to that team including a completely new front row.
Marcos Ayerza, George Chuter and Martin Castrogiovanni replace the previous starting trio of Boris Stankovich, Benjamin Kayser and Julian White, and the 38-year-old coach says that the change in forwards has benefited all six players
He said: "We made changes to the front row against Bristol not only to give the players who came in a run-out but also to give the three who start against Leicester a bit of a rest."
Ben Woods takes the place of Lewis Moody at openside flanker, while with Alesana Tuilagi's losing his appeal against a four-week ban, Scott Hamilton comes in for Matt Smith on the right wing.
Cardiff Blues also rested players in their last league game, an 11-9 Magners League win at Ulster, with scrum-half Richie Rees being the only player named in Dai Young's semi-final line-up who started in Belfast.
Rees is also the only player named in the semi-final team who did not start at Twickenham in the Blues' 50-12 victory over Gloucester in EDF Energy Cup Final two weeks ago.
He entered the fray on that occasion after just two minutes after Jason Spice broke his arm, bringing a premature end to the former All-Black's stay at the Blues.
Five of the Blues' six Lions players; Leigh Halfpenny, Tom Shanklin, Jamie Roberts, Gethin Jenkins and Martyn Williams all start, with the sixth - Andy Powell - named among the replacements.
The Blues defeated Leicester 23-9 at the Cardiff Arms Park in October on route to lifting the EDF Energy Cup, and will be hoping another win over the Tigers can springboard them towards a second cup triumph.
