The Ospreys are hoping Wales flanker Ryan Jones will be fit in time for their Heineken Cup opening clash against Sale Sharks...
Jones picked up a dead leg in the Ospreys EDF Energy Cup win over Gloucester two weeks ago and will be rested for Friday night's visit from Glasgow Warriors' to the Liberty Stadium ahead of their first Heineken cup match at home to the Sharks on October 20.
Ospreys' coach Lyn Jones has made 11 changes from the side that beat Bath at the Recreation Ground last Saturday with Wales star Gavin Henson partnering former All Blacks captain Justin Marshall at half-back.
Jones said: "Glasgow have a particularly effective kicking game and a desire to play rugby from all areas of the field and this should result in an entertaining fixture for the supporters.
"They are well led and have established Scottish internationals in key positions, which gives them the advantage of decision makers throughout the side.
"We are looking forward to the challenge they will present on Friday night."
