Leinster coach Micheal Cheika says his side will have to come out with "all guns blazing" when the Heineken Cup resumes in December...
The Leinster boss could only watch from the sidelines as his side lost to a late drop goal by Edinburgh replacement outside half Duncan Hodge.
That late Scottish strike means the Leinster team have won one and lost one and now need to get back to winning ways when they face Agen in back-to-back home and away matches in Rounds 3 and 4.
"We need to turn things around in December when we meet Agen in those two back-to-back games. We have to come out with all guns blazing," he said after the 25-24 loss at Murrayfield.
"When you score three tries to one in a Heineken Cup game and lose you've got to be disappointed.
"We always knew we were coming up against a good team and we knew it would go down to the last 10 minutes."
And, as so often is the case at the very highest level, Cheika knows the difference between success and failure is all about precision rugby.
"We weren't accurate enough in a lot of areas, we gave away two many penalties we lost field position, conceded points and then lost the game," he said.
"We needed to be clinically accurate at the end of the game and we made too many mistakes.
"I know we didn't give our best performance but I thought it was going to be enough to win."
