Ayoola Erinle could miss the rest of the season after Wasps confirmed he had broken his leg during Sunday's clash with Leicester Tigers.
London Wasps Heineken Cup campaign has been dealt a blow as centre Erinle, who was stretchered off the pitch against Leicester, has been confirmed as having broken his leg.
Erinle is currently waiting for the results of a further examination of his leg, after which Wasps will be able to confirm how long he will need to recover from the injury.
The 26-year-old has been an important part of the Londoners' line-up this season, appearing in seven of their nine Premiership matches.
Erinle's injury leaves Wasps short of midfield options, particularly ahead of the Six Nations, when the likes of Josh Lewsey and Paul Sackey are likely to be unavailable, leaving Fraser Waters and Jeremy Staunton the two main centre options.
