The Heineken Cup Trophy Tour visited the first of the four corners of England on Tuesday, 28 November when one of the London 07 ambassadors, Clair Cooper, took the trophy to Dover.
First port of call on the trip to the south-east was the site of the High Altar at Senlac Hill, in Battle, where in 1066 King Harold fell. The trophy was pictured on the exact spot where Harold died in the surroundings of Battle Abbey.

After that it was on to Dover Castle, where Clair, the reigning Miss London, took the trophy to one of the oldest parts of the castle that has guarded the 'Gateway to England' since the 12th century. Built on top of the world renowned white cliffs, Dover Castle also sits above a warren of caves that have been used since the Middle Ages.

Clair was then taken to the Port of Dover, where she was pictured against a backdrop of the white cliffs.

The final stop was Dover rugby club, where chairman Richard Catt arranged for the 1st XV to be photographed with Clair and the trophy.

Next stop Cornwall...
