Following the kick-off of the 2006/2007 Heineken Cup Trophy Tour at Rugby School the world's most prestigious club rugby trophy moved to Twickenham to take centre stage for the clash between England and South Africa.
Heineken Cup Final ambassadors Austin Healy and Miss London Clair Cooper brought the coveted trophy around the pitch prior to kick-off of the final match of the autumn series at Twickenham. All three were given a great reception by the England and South African fans with many taking the opportunity to get their picture taken with the famous trophy.
England HQ will host the 12th Heineken Cup final on Sunday, 20 May 2007 when a capacity crowd of 82,000 are expected to see the new champions of Europe crowned.
The Trophy Tour continues on Tuesday, 28 November with a visit to the Cliffs of Dover, Dover Rugby Club and the site of the Battle of Hastings before moving on to Penzance later in the week.
